DeleteI'm on an iMac and I went into my applications and there was a predownloaded one called Grab. I opened that and it worked very similarly to Skitch. I selected a portion I wanted to capture then saved it to my computer and attached the file to Preston.
ReplyDeleteOn my laptop which is a windows 7 there is a pre installed program called Snipping Tool. You crop the part you wish to capture and just save it to your computer files.

DeleteI logged onto my blog from my iPhone and took a pic of the screen by pressing down the home button and the on/off button. Then it saves itself to your pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm also going to take screenshots with my iPhone, (mainly because I don't know how to do it off of a computer) by pressing the lock and home button at the same time it will take a screenshot and save it to my pictures. Then I will just message them to your email.
ReplyDeleteThere is a program called The Snipping Tool, which allows you to take a screenshot of whatever site you're on and save it to your computer. I will use this program, then email the pictures to you.

ReplyDeleteI highlighted the graph when I went into the overview page by clicking and dragging the mouse across what I wanted. Then I went to edit, clicked on copy, and pasted it into an email.
ReplyDeleteI downloaded an extension to Google Chrome for the screenshot button in the left hand corner of the webpage. It was pretty simple on from the Google search "how to take a screenshot in Google Chrome". I do love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm simply holding down the "print screen" on my keyboard, and pasting it onto Paint.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm actually having technical difficulties at the moment trying to email this, but I used the good old snipping tool to copy and paste my information. My dad is a huge help when it comes to using tools on my computer. :)
ReplyDeleteon your computer press "ALT" and hold it, then presss "print" button on the top right of your screen. then you would go to word or any document you want. after that you paste it onto the word document than save as picture. then post to your blog. :) hope this helps

DeleteTalked on Skype with a few of my friends about how to take a screen shot and the simplest way we found was to press the print screen key in the top right corner of the keyboard then post the image in a word document or on a paint program then attach the file to an email.
ReplyDeleteHmm. I go with the traditional copy-paste method. All you have to do is press "prt scrn" and paste into a "Paint" file. Save as a jpg and you are done.
ReplyDeleteI used my iPhone to screen shot it and then just emailed the picture using my phone as well.
ReplyDeleteOh that's cool Carly.
DeleteI used Greenshot (http://getgreenshot.org/). Of course, it's not worth the download for a single screenshot like this, but if your computer lacks a screenshot program this saves a lot of cropping time.
