  2. I found it interesting how she approached the start of it by showing each of the critical characters view on Price's family move to Africa. I actually have only gotten to about page 40 in the book, and its the only one I have read: however it is the second time I am reading the characters views because the first time it sent me for a spin.

  3. This might just be my theater nerd talking, but I think Poisonwood Bible would make a PHENOMENAL stage play. Minimal sets, different characters giving monologues...it would be awesome.

  4. So, I really didn't think I'd like this book, but I liked it more and more as I kept reading.I love how each chapter is told from a different perspective of the siblings and I also always liked reading Southern accents, but that's just my thing. Anyway, what I thought was crazy interesting was Nathan Price. This book looks at the feeling of guilt and unworthiness we humans get when we feel like God is disappointed in us. Sometimes the world throws stuff at us that change the way we think or act and his quest for repentance has made him callous to the feelings of the others around. IDK reading about this character was really interesting.
